The main problem that I encounter with healing practitioners who want to grow their practice is that they do not have a clear niche or services.
This means that they simply blend in with every other practitioner in their locality. Every practitioner tends to make a very similar list of modalities and things that they help people with. Usually this list also includes support for every ailment under the sun.
The result is that potential clients cannot see any reason to book in with one person over another, so they tend to go for the cheapest or most convenient option. As a practitioner, this means that you end up with not enough paying clients, and often the clients that you do have cancel their appointments at the last minute, or do not show up. Although there may be other factors at play, this is most often because they are not placing enough value on your professional services, or they do not see any clear benefit to working with you as a unique practitioner.
If you work online, this problem is exaggerated even more, and you are likely to get lost in a sea of practitioners who appear to be all offering the same therapy services.
There is no surprise here - the solution to this problem is to find your own unique wellbeing niche. This involves finding a topic (or related cluster of subjects) that you find most purposeful in life, and to create a specific set of services around that niche area.
Although it may seem counter-intuitive, by doing this you will be able to stand out from the crowd, and to help more people in an aspect of wellbeing which is important to you.
But there is a catch here - despite many people knowing that they need a niche, it can still be incredibly difficult to put this into practice. First, it can be hard to find just the right therapeutic role to work in. It can also be challenging to clearly show potential clients exactly how you can help them, and to create services or packages which support the transformation that you are wanting to achieve.
This is where my Niche Review can help. This text-based review provides you with initial guidance on what you are doing well, and where you may wish to clarify your services a little more. It provides an objective, and non-judgemental, viewpoint from an experienced practitioner.
Basically, I will spend around half an hour of my undivided attention reviewing your website (because this is the best mirror for your work) and then send you an email with my thoughts on how you can get more clients.
There are no intense video calls, coaching, or high financial commitments required. This is just a genuine foundation-level review to help you serve more people with your work.
So, if you are a self-employed coach, therapist, or healing practitioner, this is something that you are interested in, then I invite you to book your review by clicking the icon at the bottom of this page...
